Our Policies

  • Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel as your time is set aside for you. It can be difficult to fill last-minute vacant spots and this affects the therapists as well as other clients.

Less than 24 hours’ notice given will result in the full appointment balance being due before the next appointment can be scheduled.

If you are not home when we arrive for your scheduled treatment, or if treatment is declined when we arrive, the full appointment balance will be due before the next appointment can be scheduled.

If you are feeling unwell in any way, we can be reached by phone or email and will respond to confirm the reschedule or cancellation.

  • If you or anyone in the house is unwell, please let us know at least 24 hours’ in advance (when possible) and we will reschedule your appointment.

This is particularly important as some of our therapists are immunocompromised, and we work with vulnerable populations, so your consideration is appreciated.

If the therapist arrives and you or anyone in the home is unwell, they will need to leave and rebook your appointment, and the full appointment balance will be due to compensate the therapist for their time.

If we are unwell, we will give as much advance notice as possible and reschedule the appointment.

  • Each client will need to supply their own linens. This is to provide peace of mind, as you know where the linens have been.

Please have a set of sheets (flat and fitted), a pillowcase/person, and a hand towel available. We can work with any size sheet, but twin/double are preferred when possible.

If you find you get chilled easily, a throw blanket is another good option to have on hand.

  • If you are running late or are taking time to get ready, we allow a few minutes buffer and will do our best to adjust without compromising our next appointments. Otherwise, the time you are taking will count into your session time, and the treatment time on the table may be shortened with regular fees applied.

If we are running late, you will receive your full treatment time on the table.

  • In the event that the weather and road conditions are poor and driving is not advised due to safety, we will give you as much advance notice as possible and reschedule your treatment to the next available date.

  • I understand that the massage, FST™, lymphatic drainage, or other manual therapies that I receive are provided for the basic purpose of relaxation, stress reduction, and relief of muscular tension.

I further understand that the treatment should not be construed as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment.

I understand I should see a physician, chiropractor, or another qualified medical specialist for any mental or physical ailment that I am aware of.

I understand that massage therapists are not qualified to perform skeletal adjustments, diagnose, and/or prescribe and that nothing said in the course of the session should be construed as such.

Because massage and other modalities are contraindicated under certain conditions, I affirm that I have stated all my known medical conditions and answered all questions honestly. I agree to keep the therapist updated as to any changes in my medical profile and understand that there shall be no liability on the business’s or therapist’s part should I fail to do so.
